Resetting Panel in Ubuntu

joel@joel-desktop:~$ gconftool-2 --shutdown
joel@joel-desktop:~$ gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/panel
joel@joel-desktop:~$ rm -rf ~/.gconf/apps/panel
joel@joel-desktop:~$ pkill gnome-panel
joel@joel-desktop:~$
